Fractals

I found alot of information but alot of it confused me and therefore i couldnt put it into my own words. so sorry if you have read the same descriptions somewhere else because it is copy and pasted. =]

 <—What a lovely pattern!!

Fractal is generally “a rough or fragmented geometric shape that can be divided into parts. Each of these parts will be similar to the original objeat. A fractal can be generated by a repeating pattern. The most characteristic property of fractals is that they are generally irregular in shape.

A fractal often has the following features:

  • It has a fine structure at small scales.
  • It is too irregular to be easily described in geometric language.
  • It is self-similar
  • It has a Hausdorff dimension which is greater than its topological dimension.
  • It has a simple and recursive definition.

Hope you understand what fractals are more than i did!! =]

The sine function (sin), defined as function (cos), defined as the ratio of the adjacent leg to the hypotenuse.

The tangent funthe ratio of the side opposite the angle to the hypotenuse.

The cosine ction (tan), defined as the ratio of the opposite leg to the adjacent leg.
